The Dawn

Like plaster on the wall we fall
We never know ourselves at all
Just reflections in the glass

Like wilted leaves we crumble
For the right words we fumble
Just reflections of the past

Oh, can you hear me now?
Or have I fallen out of reach?
Has the light forsaken me?
Or is it me that chose the dark?
And I'm just waiting for the dawn

Like flowers that didn't bloom
What all does the hate consume?
Just a voice without an name

Like white rooms that turn to black
We know there's no turning back
Just a loser in the game

Oh, can you hear me now?
Or have I fallen out of reach?
Has the light forsaken me?
Or is it me that chose the dark?
And I'm just waiting for the dawn

We're all just waiting for the light
To bring an end to endless night
To bring an ending to our fight
We're all just waiting for the dawn

Oh, can you hear me now?
Or have I fallen out of reach?
Has the light forsaken me?
Or is it me that chose the dark?
And I'm just waiting for the dawn
And we're just waiting for the dawn
We're all just waiting for the dawn
